Central Traffic Management SMC782

Ever increasing rail traffic is a real challenge for safe and smooth train operations. A Central Traffic Management is an essential part of a modern rail network control system.
SMC782 is software application developed to cope with programming and monitoring of the train traffic. SMC782 operation spread from regional to national rail networks. AVL (Automatic Vehicle Locators by GPS system), CTCs and Traffic Management systems are all linked to SMC782 as a hub.
Input data is automatically checked against train schedules by software. All running trains in the network could be monitored, scheduled and re-scheduled according to any delay or change. Hierarchical powerful and flexible reports could be generated based on real time online received data.
Graphical and tabular reports or other traditional types of reports could easily be defined. Train schedules could be adjusted according to predefined regulations and time tables by SMC782. Different operational scenarios could be defined and simulated for evaluation purposes.

  • Input data from AVL, CTC or other manual or automated train operation schedules
  • Graphical display of train operation in the monitored zones
  • Train scheduling according to predefined regulations and time tables
  • Online graphs generated by moving trains on the lines
  • Central, distributed or combined installation could be selected and configured
  • Operation simulation for evaluation purposes could be generated
  • Several CTC centers could centrally be monitored and supervised
